Here we go with my first random favorites I hope you find something for you down here and without further ado let’s get straight into it.
So skincare wise I have four products
Effaclar Duo+ (AED105)
I cannot talk about it enough, amazing product for acne prone skin. I bought it on Zoella‘s recommendation in one of her videos and since then I swear by it. Not irritating as all the acne treatments. I will be talking about it in depth in a coming blog so keep an eye.
Effaclar Duo + Unifiant (AED115)
I personally use it as a light sheer foundation, I’d usually put two layers in areas with more imperfections , it unifies my skin but keeps it looking glowy and natural and well, it’s a treatment!
St Ives Blackhead clearing scrub with green tea (AED22)
I just repurchased this product lately for the third time. I actually forgot how much I loved it in the past. It contains 1% Salicylic acid and great with clearing up the skin. It’s a very mild scrub which makes it ideal for daily use even with a sensitive skin. It feels amazing on my skin. I use it once in the evening while taking my shower and in my opinion it works wonders in combination with my staple at the moment “Effaclar Duo+” my skin feels clean, bright and smooth.
Garnier SkinActive, Micellar Cleansing Water (AED39)
A must have, I mean I think I’ll never change it ever.
Hair wise I’ve picked one product
Kerastase – Discipline Masque curl ideal (AED230)
OMG! This stuff works wonders and smells luxurious. I have a wavy hair and with humidity my hair just lost shape. This mask simply saved it.
Bath and Body wise again one product won me
Rituals Himalaya scrub with almonf oil and indian rose (AED110)
So this is (literally) a cooling scrub, I would’ve written a whole blog about the smell alone because oh God it smells divine. My skin feels so soft after using it, the texture is very light and doesn’t make your skin feel greasy like all scrubs I tried so far. It leaves me with the correct amount of hydration and because it has Himalayan salt as the scrubbing agent, it not irritating at all.
Now perfumes I do have two favs and I tend to mix both
Jo Malone Tuberose Angelica (AED390 for 50ml)
I looove this fragrance, sensual and warm, intense but not sickening. I do always get nice comments when I am wearing it.
Emporio Armani Because it’s you (AED460 for 100ml and AED340 for 50ml)
Well I wasn’t planning to buy this one, in fact never smelled it before. I was in a Sephora shop and I had a feeling that that was one of the “breaking the bank and doing some damage” kind of day, so I surrendered. I smelled it and oh my goodness, I don’t really know how to describe it.It’s just that kind of smell that makes me happy and confident. One thing I have to say you are really missing out if you haven’t smelled it yet.
Make up wise I have 3 products that I’ve been using none stop since I bought them
Tarteist Pro Amazonian Clay Palette (AED260)
This palette is the goal. It’s very buttery and pigmented. Blends really well. The color scheme is to faint for and you can create so many full eye looks just using it alone.
Guerlain Terracotta loose powder kohl (AED180)
Ahhhh! If you’re wondering what I am doing, I am screaming right now, I mean look at this rare specimen, isn’t it beautiful? This is honestly one of the products that’s worth the price. It looks small and it is very small. But it lasts for a long time. The quality is insane.
Now to finish off, I am adding a book and a candle to the list, must haves for a chilled zen night in, laying on a sofa.
Big little lies by Liane Moriarty
I really recommend this one if you want a really good laugh, but keeping the suspense.
Peppered Plum by Bath and Body works (AED100)
It has a sultry smell, Very cozy as well. I highly recommend it.
